Hello sweet readers!
I’ve been throwing around the idea of doing a “Thrifty Thursday” or a “Craft With Maddie Jane Monday” blog and start making some of my Pinterest dreams come true one week at a time! What do you think??
For now, I just wanted to share a quick and frugal craft that makes an adorable decoration for the kitchen!
This craft only costs $5!! The first thing you need is Alphabet magnets, which you can find at Walmart $1.80! The second is a can of metallic gold spray paint, which you can also find at Walmart for less than $4 (or borrow some from a friend, like me! Thanks @kenz_kenzz)!
Next, you need a piece of cardboard (I used a pizza box) or a hard, flat surface that you don’t mind misting with gold spray paint.
Be sure to do this outside!!
Place all of the letters on the box and space them out. With a light hand, evenly spray the letters with paint, making sure to get all of the sides and crevices and watch for runs.
After painting the letters, I brought them inside and put them on higher ground (because the dogs were way too interested) and let them dry over night!
The next day, voilá! You have 26 adorable, chic magnets for the fridge that can be scrambled into sweet words and messages all while hoisting your grocery lists, pictures, and “A” Exams! These magnets have really spiced up the fridge!
I hope you enjoyed this craft idea and stay tuned for more! Thank you so much for reading!!
With love,
Sweet Maddie Jane
These are adorable! Love them 💕
